Steamed Ridge gourd Prawn with Mustard & Coconut Paste / Jhinge Chingrir Shorshe Narkel Vapaa 2 medium ridge gourd pieces 10 prawns (cleaned & marinated with turmeric powder & salt) 4 sleeted green chilies ½ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp salt 1 tsp mustard paste 1 level tsp coconut paste (first takes 1 tbsp scrambled coconut and then makes a paste) 4 tbsp mustard oil Place a dry cauldron on gas oven (when flame is off) Then add one by one – ridge gourd pieces, prawns, sleeted green chilies, salt, turmeric powder, mustard paste, coconut paste, mustard oil Mix all together with spatula or cleaned hand. Now on the flame and adjust to simmer Do not add extra water for this cooking, because it will be steamed by water of ridge gourd pieces. Add ¼ tsp sugar Cover it on simmer flame If oil is spills out and prawns & ridge gourd pieces are soft; then move. Serve it with steamed rice. please like / share / comment & subscribe my channel.
