The Bachelorette Season 15 Episode 5 Review | Hannah Beast

hey everyone this is Destin with us
Annie’s reality this is the Bachelorette Season 15 episode 5 let’s get into it if
you like what you see here please like share and subscribe leave a comment tell
me what you think about the characters that we are talking about in these
videos off to Scotland we go I am so excited we’re finally overseas and not
in boring towns I mean sure Rhode Island might be cool that’s great but like yay
Scotland we’re doing somewhere this is great
but before we go to Scotland we have the Battle of the Luc’s Lucas goes home I’m
glad he sends himself home because he he was gonna be a front-runner anyway and
honestly all they would have saved him for was a two-on-one probably in
Scotland or the next place with the other Luke and that’s all they were
gonna do they’re just gonna have a showdown with that and I think that
because he sent himself home that kind of like disrupted the flow of things for
production so I think that’s why Chris Harrison came and took an extra rose off
when he left maybe I don’t know exactly how it worked but I think they kind of
threw them off because I think we’re gonna have a three-on-one not not this
episode but the next episode I think we’re gonna have a three on one we’re
gonna be seeing a three on one instead of a two on one I think it’s just him
leaving on his own accord I think jumbled everything up because
that was the person that they were gonna go on the two-on-one with but that I’m
glad I got it it switched it up because that would have been so predictable just
like this last night was really predictable so I’m glad that that’s done
and then John Paul Jones leaves which I don’t know why she kept the other two
Kevin and Grant like she has had no interaction with them I would have
preferred John Paul Jones he was more interesting but anyway we go to Scotland
and Mike gets the first one-on-one and this is just this is just the producers
and ABC showcasing him for bachelor because he was just like that kind of
guy that you want to go out with I mean he was he’s this great big teddy bear
slash defender like he’s not gonna put up with crap either like I just you know
you feel very safe and comfortable around him but yet you also know you
could have really deep conversations with him and you know he’s sincere I
just and he’s chocolate-flavored I mean he was just this is one of those
guy to view it you could tell like they have a friendship chemistry they don’t
really have like a romantic chemistry as much but yet yeah again showcasing how
ger he is it’s about time we got a bachelor bachelor of color
he’s the full package though he’s he’s you know he’s got the career he’s got
the kindness you know he’s a good family guy he loves his little
great-grandmother Oh cause she’s so cute I hope he gets a hometown just so we
could see that great-grandmother that great-grandmother’s adorable so anyway
that was just the showcase for him to be the bachelor moving on the group date is
I thought it was better than rugby it was all the Scottish Highland Games that
they got to play that was fine it was fun to entertaining to watch and what I
liked about how in previous seasons I feel like they make the Bachelorette to
be oblivious or a ditz when it comes to the motives and the and the ways of the
men on the show but at least with this one they’re letting they’re allowing
Hannah’s thoughts to come forth in a monologue and say stuff like you know I
can’t help but notice that the great the group date went great because Luke
wasn’t there and she’s noticing these things so it’s not like she’s completely
like oh my gosh look ah like Derek she’s actually expressing her red flags that
she sees and I’m glad that they’re allowing us to see that because I don’t
want to be I don’t want her to be portrayed as this ditzy airhead of like
huh I don’t notice anything you know and I’m glad that I’m glad people are
starting to I’m glad that that producers are letting her seat letting us see that
and so the group date was great great awesome next moving on the date with
Luke which is what you’re all here for to talk about he doesn’t know how to go
deep and she’s like well communicate how you feel he did know how girl listen to
me listen to me there are men out there that need to develop that there are men
out there that are so good-looking they can get chicks to come up and flirt with
them all the time but they can’t go deep they cannot develop that depth of
character because I haven’t had to okay the men that are not as good-looking
like I mean they’re still cute they’re still good-looking but they’re not like
a GQ model you know they’re not this ho my gosh you know cuz Luke is that guy
where all the ladies are like you know he likes it he’s used if he admitted it
when he was in college he loved that okay until he
right with God and talk to God in the shower or whatever but he is used to
that kind of attention so he hasn’t had to learn how to connect with people on a
deeper level or women women on a deeper level and so it’s showing it is really
showing up in this this date because all he had to do was say I apologize for
what happened to me with and the other loop I apologize for that let’s talk and
then start opening up and telling a story or saying hey you know I like mac
and cheese over spaghetti or whatever like going I don’t know why he just kept
you know I think he’s just trying to salvage his place in the bachelor cuz
he’s not he’s not doing what she’s asking him to do which is open up and be
deep and I don’t think he knows how and then the second thing I want to say
about Luke as well is I talked last week watch it here Church guys explain
basically he is going through this phase and he’s 24 okay he’ll learn he’s going
through this phase where he doesn’t feel adequate enough and just like he said
I’m struggling trying to be too perfect that comes from a really deep-seated
need for acceptance and he hasn’t been accepted yet and I feel like a father
figure of some type needs to come along and just affirm that boy affirm him and
say you’re a man it’s you know you’re not perfect but it’s okay like he needs
that father figure I don’t know what his dad but it was relationship his dad is
like or whatever I don’t know but he needs that acceptance because I’ve seen
it so many I grew up a church okay I’ve seen it over and over again the men in
church have this this is how a man is supposed to be he is supposed to lead
the family he’s supposed to be a leader of the home excellent provider no no
like on and on on and all this pressures put on him to be a certain way and so
you could only handle the facade and putting on airs for so long before you
start to crack and it’s pretty obvious he has not accepted himself and
self-acceptance is a lifelong journey of learning to accept yourself but that
initial phase of I’m comfortable in my own skin I’m confident I Know Who I am I
accept myself he’s not there yet and coupled with he doesn’t know how to
go deep with a woman is really showing up on this date and so at the end of the
date they you know she’s like I can’t give you a rose it’s left at the end of
it we all know he’s coming back the producers are trying to keep online did
you notice how the producers weren’t gonna like push Hanna to the edge of oh
get rid of this guy when she was talking to them she’s trying to get help from
the producers and they were like oh well it takes time to open up yeah they’re
trying to keep Luke on as long as possible they’re not at all trying to
get rid of him not at all they’re not at all trying to do that so they are
prolonging his existence on this show as long as possible he’s gonna make it –
probably fantasy suites or at least hometowns there I mean he has to I
really think this is the person she yells at in the end I really think so
this is destiny with Destiny’s reality please let me know in the comments below
